I might be moving to North Carolina, and I will have to go thru emissions testing. Right now I have LT-off road Y-pipe-and slp loudmouth. I have o2 sims for the rear, am I gonna need cats, to be legal?

CDZ28 10-06-2007, 07:32 PM thanks I'll try that. NemesisLT1 10-08-2007, 05:28 AM its a safe bet to say that you will need your egr/air system and cats to pass! aswell as a restrictive muffler.... CDZ28 10-08-2007, 10:37 PM thats what I thought.....now to find all that stuff again :( CL21376 10-09-2007, 06:43 AM Testing requirements vary by county. In the county that encompasses Charlotte they do plug-in emissions testing. If you deleted your AIR/EGR you'll probably have to re-install it and have the codes re-enabled. I'd imagine any of the major cities are going to do plug-in testing as well. Kinda sucks...I just moved here from a state with no emissions and have to add this stuff back to. Fortunately '94's are only subject to a visual emissions inspection, so everything just needs to look functional ;) | ||
