I remember doing this to my 94 like 5 years ago. The LT1 is such a PITA compared to the LS1 which is just a matter of minutes and 1000000000000 times easier. I don't remember all, but know you have to lift that top dash pad that goes across the dash, (it has the vents to defog the front windshield). This sucks cause that pad is super brittle and more than likely will crack. There are 2 bolts there above the cluster and under that pad that need to be removed. Getting your hands in there....god what a pain. There is a write up somewhere on it. check Brent's site

heres a write up from a few years back. just turn on the cluster lights and change the ones that light up, there are only 5 #194 bulbs to change in the cluster.
