shock6906 10-02-2007, 02:47 PM So, which year is it...69 or 94? (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Chevrolet-Camaro-Z28-1969-CAMARO-Z28-Convertible-RESTO-MOD-1994-Pro-Touring_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ6161QQihZ017QQi temZ270169792016QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWDVWQQtcZphoto)
It's a 1994 Camaro that has had a full exterior conversion to look like a 69 Camaro. It's pretty good workmanship if you ask me but it just looks "off" enough that I don't really like it.
The Intern 10-02-2007, 02:56 PM I think that is incredible. The old exterior with the modern interior is just awesome. I want it.
cmking26 10-02-2007, 04:09 PM Looks good other than the doors. They dont flow with the car.
Tokuzumi 10-02-2007, 04:17 PM I really like it. Very clean conversion. The only thing that looks out of place are the doors. And the windshield angle. Very nice looking job. I wonder how many hours are in that project?
Resilient94LT1 10-02-2007, 04:29 PM That things is pretty killer! I love how the fourth gen interior looks with the 1st gen style body.
MysticTeal95Z28 10-02-2007, 04:54 PM Very interesting, good find!
moroso99 10-02-2007, 04:59 PM why is there not a vin #?
Brangeta 10-02-2007, 08:04 PM INTERESTING! Thanks for posting! :)
I have pictures on my computer somewhere of one exactly like this, but in another color... I think white. I'll post them if I can find them tomorrow. I'm still at work...
Rashiki 10-02-2007, 10:35 PM I was expecting some crap-tastic kit made from poorly done fiberglass by some tool in his basement, but that actually doesn't look all that bad!!
baddboy1705 10-03-2007, 07:31 AM wow....it take it.... but those wheels HAVE to go...and not sure the whole side of the car agrees with the 93-97 door....
camarozz95 10-03-2007, 12:15 PM wow....it take it.... but those wheels HAVE to go...and not sure the whole side of the car agrees with the 93-97 door....
yeah I was going to say the samething the doors don't look right with the rest of the car...otherwise its pretty cool.
White96Z28 10-03-2007, 01:06 PM I agree, the doors could have been modified and the windshield rake throws it off...
Brangeta 10-03-2007, 10:55 PM You know, I'm really thinking that I don't like this trend. They're like bad kit cars.

It wasn't bad enough that people had to massacre all those poor Fieros... now they have to start treading on our turf.
JakeRobb 10-04-2007, 07:53 AM The workmanship looks excellent, but I agree with most of you -- it just doesn't look right.
shock6906 10-04-2007, 07:58 AM Brangeta, I think that C4/C2 looks even better than the 94/69 Camaro I posted. I think that one looks damn good, infact.

That looks badass. Especially since I'm a car guy and it still took me a second to see a problem. If that was just posted, or if I saw it on the street, I'd think it was just another restored 'Vette.
Brangeta 10-04-2007, 10:24 AM I'm surprised you guys like the Vette. Personally, I could spot it as a fake from a block away. The windshield just isn't compatible with the project IMO, and looks really awful. The rear sloping roofline looks nice, but the windshield angle and everything really kills it.
shock6906 10-04-2007, 10:36 AM It only looks bad in that side profile picture. In the other two pictures it looks fine to me. I bet it's even less noticeable from the direct front or back.
Irish350 10-04-2007, 03:58 PM its the stance and the windshield rake that kill it for me
..and the interior
sn8ke eatr 10-09-2007, 12:28 PM that is absolutly the ugliest thing i have seen in a long time
