I got on the highway tonight and this WRX was behind me...I watched him follow me on...Anyways he got next to me after some cars passed us...I was doing about 55 in the slow lane and he was in the fast lane...He revved it up and all I heard was a fart can and a blow off valve, so I honked 3 times and punched it...He didn't go at all....So I slowed back down and honked 3 times again....nothing...he would only get next to me about 6 times after that and rev it up....wtf...O well maybe next time, I think it would of been interesting to see the results

A Subaru with an open blowoff valve is riced, not modded.
A "stage 2" car simply has at least a downpipe (if not full exhaust) and a tune with more boost. That's it. On a 2.0 liter with as small a turbo as they come with, it ain't going to do much - maybe taking them from 92 to 96-98 mph traps. For 2007+ models, that level of mods will actually produce some results as they all get the 2.5 liter engine but are sadly still saddled with the tiny turbo so it doesn't hurt the sales of the STi model.
I promise you my Stage 2 Subaru would give you a better run. My turbo is larger (only slightly) than the WRXs, and my assometer says it's picked up to around 104-105 mph traps. A 5 mph improvement isn't bad for $500 spent.
I hate the Subaru aftermarket. Everything is waayy overpriced and people are like sheep, buying whatever vendors tell them to buy without understanding why they're doing it. People who tune them treat it like witchcraft; they hate the open source tuning tools because it'll let the Average Joe use a canned tune that nets 98% of the results of a custom tune for barely any cost at all.

yea i helped the kid put in his downpipe, he already had an exhaust on it and he had some kind of flash tuning tool for it idk what it was but we ran after we put it in and it wasnt much of a race i figured he wouldve wanted to go from a dig but he declined.. i wasn't complaining about it.
and yea yours sounds like it would be a much better race for me
