My Camaro is an embarassment

Hello everyone,

My Z has since of late been a head turner for the wrong reasons!

Whenever I take a turn at any speed, or go over a speed hump or the slightest uneven road, the car gives out continuous squeaks as if it's coming from an unlubricated door or a highly mechanised factory machine. It used to sound less before. Car now sounds as if it's about to fall apart :)

This topic has been touched on before since many of you experience squeaky sounds coming from the chassis area.

I love my car but I love it not to sound very bad too. Is there anything that you guys can suggest to identify the cause & eliminate the sound??

thanks.

If you can identify where it is coming from - front or rear it would help.

A common noise from the rear are the LCA bushings. I did mine a while back. Sounded like grandma's rocking chair when going over speed bumps.

It will buy you a couple of years maybe - but my experience is it will creep back again.

Any poly bushings on the car? I once saw(heard) an older stang going down the road, looked amazing and was tottaly redone but its squeeked non stop any time there was ANY suspension movment. The guy had definatly replaced on the bushings with poly.. was quite funny yet sad given that it was a beautiful older mustang ;)

mine did the same thing, it ended up being the rear brakes were worn. (wear indicator)
