From what I read before, alot of people don't like it...I am sure someone who has/had one will chime in. I have a magnaflow on mine, and would recommend it.

I have one on my car and love the sound of it. Loud enough to get pulled over, but not annoying for the road trips. many dont like them because they are restrictive but...

I have a flowmaster 60 series catback and it sounds amazing.

it is NOT loud enough to get pulled over with. What you need to take into consideration is that with the different series' of flowmasters, you get different sounds. No joke, my car sounds like a tiger when you lay into it. Unique for sure.

honestly, I think the 4.6 PI mustang engine sounds amazing with the right exhaust, the 5.7 LXX motors don't sound the same at all. If you are expecting that Mustang tone, you'll be upset (or satisfied). all a matter of personal taste. Do your research, go with what YOU like.

I love the 4.6L Mustang tone also...I am not going for that, people just told me that a Flowmaster Muffler is more common for a mustang.
I am not sure what the guy has on there series wise...

Thanks

I have a Flowmaster kit on my LS1. It's a kit for a `95-97 LT1 #17134 It uses a 40 series 2 chamber single in single out muffler so it has a Single On The Left (SOTL) tip. It sounds great and flows better than the dual out 80 series kits available for thses cars. I have an 18" long 3.5" stainless tip on it. And Yes I wanted a SOTL system cause they are more efficient than the dual set ups.
I live in Michigan also if you want to see it and hear it send me a PM
