OK everyone DJsexay and I have been working on this install for a few months. With DJ only having basically the weekends and I having MANY trips over to Hanover it took little longer than anticipated but the results speak for themselves. The components are as follows:

Alpine 7998 CD/MP3 player
JL 12w7
Focal 7w2 Utopia in stock door locations.
Focal 4w2 Utopia in custom kick panels.
Focal TN51 Utopia tweets in custom A pillar pods.
JL 500.1 for the sub.
JL 300.2 for the 7w2s.
JL 300.4 for the 4w2s and the TN51 tweets
A LA 1 farad cap, Optima yellow top, and stinger fuses and wiring throughout complete the install. Here are some finished pics. Let me know what you think.
Some pics of the custom opening and mount to have the 7998 sit flush when opened.

There you have it. PLEASE overlook the dirt . It is -5 with the windchill  and I wasn't going to hang outside too long :p

Opinion and comments welcomed. I also would like to thank Mike DJSexay for one hell of a job. This guy knows what he is doing folks. Any local guys need something done I suggest looking him up before you go to a shop. Well after Spring Break Nationals ;)

thanks

All of the custom work is hand laid fiberglass. the rear amprack, sub surround, kick panels, and head unit are all made from fiberglass.

Nice job man. It looks good. I'm an installer at a car audio shop and alot of people comes by and show us their "custom" install that they and their friends done and it looks like crap. You done a good job, looks nice and clean.

How's it sound? I've seen the JL 12w7--that thing is massive and must just pound the crap out of your ears :D

Looks like somebody was a sprayin fool:D

Looks very good, I am in the middle of designing my stuff and have a similar idea for the amps. How are you handling the heat issue?? Did he use any little extraction fans??

Either way, you boys done good;)
