Vinyl vs Urethane vs Stainless

Hey guys. I am getting ready to buy inserts for my bumper and badges for the fenders. How do the vinyl overlays hold up? Can you run them through a carwash? I cant really afford Stainless right now, however its on my list. I was wondering if I could get by with Vinyl for now. Give me your thoughts thanks! :)

My vinyls have been perfect ever since the day I put them on. I don't think that you will be let down by going that route. Plus I think they were only like $15, can't beat that.

Just make sure you cleans the area real good with rubbing alcohol b4 you put them on.

Thanks for the tips guys. Have you tried overlays for the fender badges? Do they look alright? Just worried about them peeling. I figure the bumber insterts wont be as bad because its recessed, but I wasnt sure about the fender badges.

I've had vinyl overlays for my Z-28 emblems and Camaro rear inserts for about 5 years now.

No issues whatsoever, they still look good as new:D

Whats Brents website address? I have a PPM Camaro. I think Im going to go with Chrome. thing is, my wheels are the silver 5spoke alloys, so maybe I should go silver??? Nah.. I think chrome.. LOL :)

I've had Brent's overlays on all three of my emblems for a couple years. Haven't had any problems with them.

My vinyl emblem overlays peeled some, I had to replace them once. It's difficult to get them to stick onto all those little contours in the emblem. Never yet had a problem with my vinyl bumper inserts.

I would go with silver personally. I never liked the look of chrome or stainless inserts or emblems.

I havent ever seen one with chrome fender emblems. Only the rear inserts. Anyone have pics? Brents site is awesome. He has some really good decals. I like the reflective ones that go on the front airdam.
