Idle clip of new motor

Finally fixed the charging problem, so rebuilding the rear-end is next. I haven't convinced myself it's safe to do a lot of driving to tune it because of the random noisiness of the rear-end.

I finally got around to making a cold idle clip today. This is through Grotyohann headers (circa 2000), cats, and an after-axle cut-out.

Damn Jim that sounds really nice! I take it from your comment about the rear end that you won't have it at the Martin event next weekend. I'll be in Savannah with the Porsche Club so I won't be there either. Hope to see you in Gainesville on the 29th for the Mini Prix though.

Thanks... yeah, I'm ridding myself of the truck since I never bought the trailer and the fuel economy stinks, among other reasons. I plan to co-drive Randall's car on street tires on the 16th, and hope I can resolve the rear-end by the 29th.

obtw, Happy Birthday Jeff!

Thanks Jim. The big 45 today, I'm on the down hill slope to 50 now!

Sounds good. I think I have heard that sound before?

The open headers echoed a bit inside the building. While inside is louder, I prefer the crisp lope without the echoing.
