mine are getting due to be replaced, and i was looking at hawk performance ceramic pads. Are these a good pad for a daily driven car that will be bracket raced next year? Also, do we need anything special for tools on a LT1?

3/8s hex wrench or 3/8s hex socket...... Socket is easier.....

Dont know about Hawk pads.... I use Raybestos gold ceramic pads...:)

my hawk ceramic pads are coming in this week for my C5 Z06 brake upgrade.

from the reviews i've read they seem to be good pads, and hawk is a very trusted brand.

n2ceptor is right about the socket, go buy 3/8 allen head socket from your local parts store, makes life a lot easier cuz you can get some torque on those bolts instead of bending allen wrench after allen wrench.
