Header, Y pipe, and cat ?'s

ok i been looking at pacesetter long tubes and mac mid length headers plus I am trying to get a high flow cat. First question is where can a get a good high flow cat for a decent price? 2nd I'd rather have long tubes than mid's but I do have emissions altough thats not to big a worry, but if i go with long tubes do i have to have the cat welded into the y pipe or can it still be placed behind the y-pipe like on the stock exhaust?

On LT's the cat goes directly onto the collector..
