I really like the idea of using the nitrogen to push the n2o for better n2o distribution and using more than 4lbs of n2o in the bottle. Anybody make a homemade kit? LMK

Anybody running nano n2o?T/A lt1 09-05-2007, 06:28 PM I really like the idea of using the nitrogen to push the n2o for better n2o distribution and using more than 4lbs of n2o in the bottle. Anybody make a homemade kit? LMK jasonisdn 09-05-2007, 06:41 PM i have been looking at them myself. if anyone pm's you let me know Sparkz28ss 09-05-2007, 07:44 PM at 600 bones...I will hang onto my bottle heater. but it looks interesting Chopstix 09-05-2007, 08:52 PM We are carrying the NANO line now.... http://www.nitrousoutlet.com/catalog/models.asp?group=36&model=139&dept=11 and I will be adding one of their kits to my own car. This should cure my pressure drop issues and will work out to be a comparable intial expense and will actually save me money in the long run. I was planning on running a twin 10# setup Extra 10# bottle $179 (ours) Extra Bottle Heater $210 (860 Performance) Misc lines and fittings ~$60 Total $449 If you add the heater I already have $659 But the big thing is the ability to use ALL the nitrous out of the bottle...my last trip to the track I had 5# in the bottle and only got 1 run...on the second I launched on 1100psi and was down to 800 around the 1/8 mile....weighed the bottle afterwards and still had ~3# left. They also have an entry level kit for the casual nitrous user, it will support up to a 150 shot and starts at $497 jasonisdn 09-05-2007, 10:51 PM beautiful. i will be getting in touch very soon 1982z28with18s 09-06-2007, 01:51 AM I've been running nano on my 96 formula and also ran in on my TrailBlazer SS and LOVE IT. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3DPlEGO4E_o I've also got my two 10lb nano kits for sale in the for sale section along with all my other nitrous parts since I'm going with a turbo setup. Also was running in some heat so I know it had A LOT more left in it. 97formulakid 09-06-2007, 01:21 PM OK, so with this kit, you don't need a bottle heater right? And also, do you have to refill the nitrogen bottle too?? Ray@NitroDaves 09-06-2007, 02:15 PM OK, so with this kit, you don't need a bottle heater right? And also, do you have to refill the nitrogen bottle too?? correct...you do not need a heater with this system, you will also need to fill the NANO bottle. It can be filled at any paintball, Scuba, or SCBA re-filler. 97formulakid 09-06-2007, 02:45 PM how much do refills cost? Ray@NitroDaves 09-06-2007, 04:33 PM in this area, it would run ~$10 97formulakid 09-06-2007, 04:42 PM how long would the bottles last? 1982z28with18s 09-06-2007, 06:11 PM The little bottle you can fill with high pressure air or nitrogen, costs $4 here. They last the exact length as the nitrous bottle, so you just fill them when you fill the nitrous bottle. I just picked up a yank3200 for mine....then its going to be time to hit the track and get a few n2o runs... 1982z28with18s 09-06-2007, 07:02 PM I loved it actually, I do A LOT of racing on the street, and with drag radials it would dead hook on the spray, and on motor and street tires it would dead hook. Perfect for a consistent setup, plus I got it dirt cheap. http://media.putfile.com/Skinnies-TBSS-memory WS6NIGHTMARE 09-09-2007, 06:59 PM Anybody make a homemade kit? LMK I forget off the top of my head who has it, but theres a fake nitrous kit out there, all it does is purge, and in the descrption it said that some people use it as a cheap dry shot kit. I wondered if with the proper fittings, it would work the same? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3DPlEGO4E_o  f***in awesome car:bow:  97formulakid 09-17-2007, 11:55 AM bringing back an old thread. So does the compresssed air/nitrogen get sprayed into your motor too? Ray@NitroDaves 09-17-2007, 11:59 AM bringing back an old thread. So does the compresssed air/nitrogen get sprayed into your motor too? not unless the nitrous bottle is run empty...but even if that happens it would not cause any problems. But the high pressure air is pushing the liquid nitrous out of the bottle | ||
