WTT my 4.10's for your 3.42/3.73

Testing the waters here. I love my 4.10's, but track times are becoming less of a concern for me. Thinking about doing a trade for my 96 rear with 4.10's for a stock/3.73 set-up and some cash. Just seein what kind of interest, if any I might get here. LMK if anyone is interested.

I'd probably be interested, but my car isn't running worth a crap right now to take it anywhere. The stock 3.42's are in great condition AFAIK, but the pinion seal leaks. I've drained/refilled it before though.

This one has no leaks, and I would like to get one that doesnt leak for a trade.

how rough have you driven it? I know a 6spd is hard on the 10bolt with the 410s.

Its been driven, but never any races from a dig, or dumping the clutch. The gears don't whine, and have never had any problems with the rear end.

I may be interested. How many miles are on the rear? I am in Hurst, I would like to look at and ride in the car for a listen. I've got a '97 t/a with 69k, stock gears, no leaks, quite as a mouse.

The original mileage on the rear was in the 80k range when I got it. Since then, I bought it and put the gears in it immediately. I have put around 25k on it. The car isnt running right now, has no tranny.

Will it soon have a trans? I'd really like to hear for myself if the gears make any noise or not. If not I am planning to put 4.10's in anyway, not a huge deal.

How much cash we talking?

I was wanting around 150 or so. The tranny will be in the car this weekend. I just got word from my builder its done.

i can vouch ive ridden in ryans car and it makes no noise....

I will let you know. Im still trying to decide. Like I said, im just testing the waters as of right now.
