Replacing rear wheel stud on Tracton Control car?

I've done a search and know how easy it is to do on a car w/o Traction control, but couldn't find a single how-to on a car with traction control.

For those that don't know about TC cars, there is a large gear looking thing within an inch behind the hub. So getting a stud in there, is physically impossible.

So how does one do this w/o removing an axle, which I can do, but it's messy as hell.

Did you figure out how? I've got traction control and have the same problem. What did you do to fix this?

I think we will both have to remove the axles. I've searched and got no answers. Nor did I do it yet. I'll do it when I swap to 3.73s.

Check this out. I'll be trying these suggestions to see if it works as soon as I have a day off.. Worth a try since messing w/the axles would be a pain. Hope this helps.

Good luck. Let me know what happens. I'm under the impression the LS1 rear, although interally the same as an LT1, the ABS and braking system is entirely different.
