700R4-4L60E VSS signal?

Is the reluctor ring mounted in the tailshaft different in both transmissions?
I am actually working on an LT1 engine/4L60e transmission combo transpalnt into a 1989 C1500 Truck and am trying to figure this out.

The 700 and 4L60E use the same exciter ring.
