Summit Lowering Springs

In my new Summit magazine I noticed these lowering springs.

The price seems good, and 1 to 1.3 inches is exactly the amount I would like to lower my car. Is anyone using them? What do you guys think? Thanks.

I'd want to know if they lowered 1 or 1.3". It doesn't sound like much but thats a relatively significant difference in clearance.

Also what are the rates? Are they going to be rock hard and bounce your car down the street or will the be weak like Sportlines and let the rear sag and ride the bumpstop?

I emailed the Summit techline a couple of months ago to find out what the spring rate was, they replied with some generic answer and gave me a range of rates for all of their springs. I would have bought springs then if they would have given a good answer... their loss.

1-1.3" is a huge range, and that's assuming they really lower the car what they say they will. There are springs out there that lower the cars much more than the stated amount.

Add to that the fact you don't know who's making them, what material, what the spring rates are and so on and I'd tell you that a lot of better options exist.
