One of my friends just modded the hell out of his evo and he wont tell me what he's done. Ive heard that he has the stock 2.0 liter block, with head porting, fuel, boost cams, and a bigger turbo..Ive heard hes going to be running 40+ psi!! My mods are in my sig, except for the nitrous that I will be adding soon. It will be a 75 shot off a NX express kit. Should put me around 675 rwhp..Look at the mods carefully and let me know if i can run him down...this race will be for money, unless you guys think ill get raped!

He better forge his block!! 40psi thats quite a bit idk if I have seen #'s that high in many cars at all. I suppose you better have some drag radials handy to put the power to the ground.

i do not think a 2.0 can make 40#'s. even with the waste gate welded shut.

depends on the turbo, he would have to run a big snail in order to make 600awhp to be able to hang, but 600awhp is pushing that motor anyways in stock form i have seen it done but dont know how long it will last. IF you go from a dig he has no prayer as he will be leaving his trans on the ground.

Definately DR's and it wouldn't hurt to have the N2O. Don't under-estimate the Evo's especially once they have been tuned and modded!

There's a guy that maxed out his Evo in P'Cola around 30-40 psi before upgrading to a stroker shortblock. You can check out another guy from P'cola that did somewhat of the same thing with his black Evo @ AMSPerformance.com

Last I heard he was at high 900 w/out N2O and well over 1000+ with
N2O.

You'll be rowing through alot of gears with your M6 and 4.11's. Better have some slicks.:)

Dont think you have a chance from 0-> on the streets, on a track or widh a rollingstart you will beat him easy..

I doubt 40 psi, that is a little high, local guy around here has a fully built forged motor from AMS and runs 38 psi making 700 awhp on CAM2 116. That same car makes like 450 awhp on pump. ;) Looking at your mods you should kick his ass traction permitting.

its like watching a bunch of women talk about cars, 30lbs 40lbs, he could be running a small turbo and run 40lbs so what? is he making big power? no! So the question still stands what size turbo?

dont forget that they still do not make a transmission/ front axle or rear end that will hold any kind of real power.

That thing is retarded and has like 5 gazzilion dollars in it, anything can make 900hp with that much money in it. The reality is you need a build engine and huge turbo/fuel system to make anything over 500hp, then you still braking drivetrain in pieces and it takes track officials 3 hours to clean up after you just like the AMS evo did when they tried to run it.

I ran a pretty modded evo a few weeks back. Supposedly pushing +500 AWHP, 30PSI, meth injection, etc. This kid's family has a lot of money. The car took off out of the hole, and I played catch up till around 100 where I passed him and pulled about 2 cars by 130, where I backed off..

They can be fast..
