Needing some serious help with engine on its way out

So all this **** started happening from a simple water pump install

Me and my buddy did it one afternoon and everything worked out fine

but when I arrived home to visit my parents I noticed a coolant leak under the car.

I took it to a local mechanic because it progressivly got worse and worse and I couldnt find it, and they said it was just a hose but they wanted to run some more tests on it because the temperature gauge wasn't matching the actually coolant temperature or something

So I get the car back and they put in a new thermostat, new sensor, and the car was smoking.

I take it home and check the oil and it was golden before I gave it to the mechanic and now its completely black.

I also checked the coolant which wasn't even at the "cold" mark

I drove it around and its not smooth at all. It seems like its missing or something...possibly a wet optispark.

I also noticed a nice wet spot under the car, but I'm not sure if its coolant or just the A/C dripping yet...I'll have to check it when it drives

Can someone post up of any local shops in the Clearwater, FL area that know what they are doing or anybody local that is willing to help?
