THANKS Z-RATED94 08-06-2007, 06:06 PM More info would be nice. What was the weather like? DA? 60 ft times? Street tires or stickys? bombebomb 08-06-2007, 06:10 PM From what you told us, I dont think them are bad times, but im no expert. 95 WHITE TRANS 08-06-2007, 06:15 PM The weather was on the humid side .Tires are f1 gs d3 and 60 foot 2.00. Z-RATED94 08-06-2007, 06:18 PM Not bad then. But if you want to wake that car up, put in a quality converter and get a set of sticky tires. 95 WHITE TRANS 08-06-2007, 06:20 PM Would a high flow cat help? Z-RATED94 08-06-2007, 06:25 PM Not really, unless yours is clogged. 95 WHITE TRANS 08-06-2007, 06:40 PM Thank you for the response you have been a great help. TedH 08-07-2007, 12:43 PM My '94 ran 13.5-13.6 consistently at 101 in decent air with Edelbrock shortie headers, drag radials, and Moroso cold air as a comparrision, however it was a M6 with a Hurst short throw shifter. I suspect a higher stall converter would put you in the same range or perhaps a little better as you have a faster MPH than I did. :) 95 WHITE TRANS 08-07-2007, 07:34 PM How much would drag radials help? danhr 08-07-2007, 08:13 PM You have a lot more left in it. You should be able to cut a 13.5 or 13.4 out of it. Your mph is up there. 60' time is sharty.... work on launching your car better. an a4 likes to dead hook, no spinnage. a quality set of lca's would be the next mod to do if I were you. 93Phoenix 08-09-2007, 11:36 AM That's one weird time, my buddy Z28 with nearly identical mods ran 13.7 @ 102 w/ a 2.1 60' TedH 08-09-2007, 01:17 PM That's one weird time, my buddy Z28 with nearly identical mods ran 13.7 @ 102 w/ a 2.1 60' Stuff happens. My ET can vary as much as .5 between July and October and the sixty foot times will be similiar. There are an incredible amount of variables to take into consideration on each pass to accurately quanity the details of the timeslip. mn96ss 08-09-2007, 02:44 PM Not bad then. But if you want to wake that car up, put in a quality converter and get a set of sticky tires. My time in sig backs this statement up. And I have 3.23s. You should hit around a 13.2 with your trap speed with a GOOD converter and DRs. 95 WHITE TRANS 08-09-2007, 03:42 PM That's one weird time, my buddy Z28 with nearly identical mods ran 13.7 @ 102 w/ a 2.1 60' What's so weird with a .2 difference? 93Phoenix 08-09-2007, 05:13 PM What's so weird with a .2 difference? E.T. MPH 60' 13.9 102 2.0 13.7 102 2.1 The weird part is that you both have the same mods, the same drivetrain and trapped exactly the same means you are making probably the same amount of power. Using the every .15 60' rule, my buddy would run a a 13.5 on a 2.0 60' foot. It's just weird that his car would run almost half a second faster with the same powerband(atleast it should be). Just to add how important lca's and dr's are. | ||
