Scanmaster LT1 Question that is not in search.

No one tells exactly how to get the scanmaster to display the trouble codes that have popped up. my car has stumbled before the fans come on a few times and thrown a light. It even goes out when I drive away at times. I have to find out what this is and people are telling me a paperclip? What does that mean? my scanmaster has two small buttons on the front . Period. There is no place for a paperclip but I have a 95 camaro and a fairly new scanmaster so what is the deal? Anyone have ideas?:confused:

just found a photo of a scanmaster with the hole in the back. mine doesn't have it. i need to figure out who the manufacturer of the scanmaster is. I have never found a more obscure product with little support as this device. mine must be an older version without the ability to read codes or at least no push button for the option. I opened it up and it doesn't have provisions for that feature inside... I need to find out who makes it and contact them about it. Any ideas?
