What ever happened to the T-top Mustang for 2008?
3rd and 4th Gens made a killing on the T-top option. Try finding a 4th Gen without T's....I had a '94 Z28 hardtop and felt like the only one....I mean I really had a rare car!
I dunno, I think if GM had a way to engineer T-tops into the 5th Gen (and if they looked halfway decent), they'd do it.

This is very true. If they could, they would because it is a fact that they know how much we want them. However, they cannot. There are far too many other threads about why to get into it here.
I have to admit, I love T-tops and have since the very first 1976 Pontiac 50th annicersary Bladk/Gold TransAm had them (which I just happened to have owned one!).
Drop tops are fine, targa-tops are better, but I'll never like either of them as much as a T-top!

Ford is very shrewd at managing the Mustang. They are spacing out alot of plans and pacing themselves on what to offer and when to offer it.
The Mustang has alot of things built into the body to accept future options and models, and not just the infamous hoodscoop-ready hood for a future Boss or Mach 1 model.
Ford DOES have a T-top in the porfolio, assuming that it's already cleared any crash testing that needed to be done. But as to when they will add it to the option lists is now anyone's guess since there would be a fairly low startup time, and therfore with fairly little advance notice.

If so, I woulnd't expect to see major changes in options before then.
