I was talking to a member on here about his nitrous and blown 383. I have been thinking about adding a small shot of nitrous but after talking about I was curious which I would benefit more from, a D1 upgrade or a 50-75 shot. Right now Im spinning the P1 just about to its max ~58K rpm (3.4 pulley). Thanks for your input engine specs are below

Golen 9.0:1 383@11 psi
LE3 LT4 intake and heads w. 2.08/1.60
224/236 .605/.624 116lsa
Full exhaust and bolt ons
methanol

does it end ?

If I had to choose id go with bigger blower. It seem to do a n20 the right way (safe way)can be expensive and probably a lot harder on parts. And then you'd have another system under you hood to worry about. As if there isn't enough already.

F1A > n20+p1

You took the words right out of my mouth. Its available all the time. You don't have to say wait a minute while I turn on my N20 or sorry can't race today because my bottles empty.:D Weight and simplicity is another reason. Underhood space, the list goes on.:)

This is coming from an NA guy, so don't laugh. But why not both? :D

I definitely would not upgrade to a D1SC for the $1200 that Procharger charges. I sold my P1SC for 1700 on ebay and bought an F1A for 2450 from EPP back before the price increase so if you do the math it is more cost effective to buy an F1A. You will pick up at least 2 psi spinning the impellor the same speed as the P1SC due to the more efficient impellor. You can also spin the F1A to 72,000 rpm so it will provide enough boost to get that extra 75HP your looking for. Also you won't get as much belt slip because you can run a bigger blower pulley with more surface area. One of the best upgrades I've done so far.:)
