383 what size turbo?

Hi guys i got a 89 camaro with a procharger 383 stroker i want to go with a single turbo setup, which turbo would you guys recomend? and what A/R size?
was thinking about a t76 but not sure of the turbine or a/r size. the car is running around 9lbs boost looking around 15lbs of boost.
the car is mainly street driven. Thanks for the input.

umm i went with a TC76 with a .96 a/r after talking to a few guys on here. not only did i pick it after alot of research but also b/c it was a pretty cheap. if you get on LS1tech.com and talk to DrTurbo he could prolly point you in a better direction.

im running a 9.25:1 383 that i hope to make over 600hp with and i was told the TC76 would get me there. you might wanna look at a different cam b/c that LSa might not be too turbo friendly but dont quote me on that.

im aiming to 500 to 550hp. what is the difference between t76 and tc76? i was looking at t76 with .96 a/r. do you get a lot of turbo lag? how much boost are you running?

my motor is still sitting out of the car so i donno about lag and power YET but i know that the lag wont be bad and i should make my goal of over 600 RWHP. i will also be running up to 15psi. there are many guys running the TC76 i couldnt tell you the difference between a t and tc though. maby realquick or the other more experianced turbo guys will chime in.

The T76 and TC76 are very similar. They both have 76mm compressor wheels. The TC76 is a ForcedInductions.com modified Turbonetics turbo. Its a budget turbo that performs. The best T4 T76 still appears to be Precision T76 GTS, or like Mike mentioned, you can upgrade to the 80mm version of that turbo. The TC76 appears to be a popular street unit that can be bought new for ~$1000. If 500-550rwhp is your goal... then any T76 (Q trim or S trim) version you buy will get you there.
