Will a 96 BCM work with a 95 Z28? I can't find anywhere that sells the 95's anymore.

For 1995 (with AUO Keyless entry RPO) part number appears to be 09353691
$159.88 from GMpartsdirect.

For 1995 (without AU0 Keyless entry RPO) part number is 09353681
$165.18 from GMpartsdirect.

I put both of those numbers into GMpartsdirect.com search function and came up with nothing. Maybe they no longer make new ones? I hope not because I need a new one.

What exactly does the BCM control or do? How do you know when it goes bad?
