Does anyone know when 20" rims came out...not for stock cars...Just 20" aftermarket rims...I have a bet with my friend when they came out...I think that they came out before 95 he thinks after 95....any idea ??? I know alot of people dont like big rims on here but...just wondering, and trying to make a couple extra bucks....

I work for discount tire so ill ask my manager. He said he mounted up the first set of 20's in houston for an oilers football player. dont remeber which one though.

well think this way. 17s were a big deal back in like 96-97 according to the vets in my company. I think 20s made it big around 98

 

they made it big in 98, but those dirty boys in the south were doing it way back in the day, i'd say way before 95
