Good HU to work with wheel controls & play DVD music?

Doesn't anyone make a HU that works with the steering wheel radio controls and plays music on DVD or mp3's. Can you still get those $60 things that make a HU work with wheel controls? Where do you get those? And do they work with all the latest HU's? Also does anyone still make HU's that dim with the dash lights?

alpine makes a nice dvd, radio that is not a screen, so does jvc. Yes, down here in New Orleans, there is a universal piece for like 60 and a brand specific piece for like 100. The cheap one works off of your remote sensor on the radio, and the expensive one is actually wired in from behind the radio. Almost all radios will dim if the illumination wire is hooked up
