I know the clay clown cars were silver when they were deciding on the design direction.

But I have no clue about the concpet itself.

I think the order is this...

Silver One got done 1st.... they had a much bigger reaction that they anticipated so they build a roller Red Concept to show it to more people. Then they had such a great reaction that they did the orange and around the same time they sent out the panels for the BumbleBee one. :)

I know that isn’t right because one of the first pictures to leak right before the unveiling was of the Red concept.

The Red concept was actually the first picture I ever saw of the 5th gen.

the must have been built at the same time.

Then the one down under and the vert later on.

Which one was seen by the automotive jurnalists in the fall before NAIAS 06?

That was a clay model -- not the silver car that later made the official debut at NAIAS in 2006.

I think we know that the red push car was not a reaction build. Was the red push car or silver runner built first, that is what we are trying to figure out.

IIRC, silver car 1st, followed pretty much right after by red push car, then a 2nd silver push car done for the engineering team in Australia.

I thought it was the silver one and then two red push cars followed by the convert.

For what? I already told you the Silver drivable concept was built first. The red push car second, then the Convertable a year later. I understand not taking my word, but ChrisL posted the same thing.

Scotts most likely on vacation with his family. for the holidays.

Then followed in close 2nd was the red model & yes the red model was the first ones to leak out to the press about a week before the show.
The Silver one was slated to the Detroit auto show & the red push car was in LA at the LA Auto show, to be presented at the same time as the silver car in detroit.


This was the first picture to hit the next & the car is sitting out side of the LA Auto staging area I do believe.
