I really didnt want to get one.
I had the 05+ hood installed 2 months ago and 50% of the car re-painted, it looks amazing! (untill last friday:( )
I already have a nice nick in the hood and bumper courtisy of NJ RT 80W paving job:mad:
My cars a DD and I drive alot of highways and local roads with dumptrucks. I wash it weekly and it's parked outside. I'm not buying this for looks:o

Which one is the better choice?
LeBra is $65.00
Colgan is $119.00 so big price difference!
I was considering the "sport" one (hood only) since I had one before, but it leaves the whole bumper exposed.

I would never use a bra ...get a clear bra put on ....bras cause so much damage ....if its raining you must take it off...never put any dressing on it ....wash car without it....as a detailer i have seen to many bras cause damage ....the bra will rub :)....so go find a LLumar dealer and get a clear one put on..:)...looks better and wont fade the paint unlike the bras you are looking at ..( 3m clear not as good as LLumar )

I have to agree with Carly. If you're getting a bra to protect your paint, you'll be in for surprise. They typically cause more damage than they prevent. My mom's hood is ruined because of the bra that was on it. A clear bra is the only way to go if you're wanting to get anything.

I should of expressed my hatred for the clear bra's before.
I installed them for a short wile and will never put that on my paint again!
It took the paint off the hood of my camaro:eek: and it's faided very badly on my sisters jetta dispite her waxing the car.
I did make custom ones for the headlights and fog lights, but thats the extent I'll install that crap on any of my cars.

Suffice it to say that no matter how bad your experience with a clear bra was, a leather one will be worse.
What brand of clear bra did you use?

YES i am the BRA expert of Camaroz28.com
I have the colgan. Much better quality & fit than le bra. Most people here hate bras (on cars) but if you keep it clean underneath you'll be OK. I've had a bra on my Z since new w/ very little damage. The only damage I had was due to not cleaning the clips enough on the wheel wells.

Then why ask for opinions?

Then why ask for opinions?
Because I wanted to know if anyone has had experience with either brand.
