My Windows Dont Work....no Idea Why

I replaced my window switches today...and now they dont work. at all. there was one broken fuse so i replaced it. nothing happened.. wat should i do? thanx for the help guys

EVERYTHING else in the car works perfectly. (86 IROC)

why did you replace the window switches? obviously look over your work first if it worked before..

welll my switches were starting to crack in half

put the old one back in temporarily -- see if that one still works

ya i did...as soon as i reconected the battery and tried to test them w/ no success. my bro has a fbody so i'll get him to look at it when he gets home tonite

until then....recheck all your fuses -- even the one you just replaced -- is it still good? the fact that it blew means something went wrong (obviously), and if it's blown again (or other fuses still blown), then there's obviously something still wrong..

i dont think its the window motors either..i dont think BOTH of them would go out at the exact same time

ya i found the problem...loose wires. works great now
