Hello Everyone,

Sorry if this has been posted already but when they say that the camaro will be out the first quarter of 2009 do they mean Model Year 2009 (Late summer\Early fall) or calendar year 2009 (Jan-Mar of 2009)?

Thanks!!

Sorry, first quarter of '09 means Jan.-March '09, not the last quarter of '08.

They will actually begin to BUILD them in the last quarter of '08 though, correct??

...(I'll probably sit on a lawn chair with a bag of popcorn and 6-pack of beer watching them roll out of the plant into the parking compound when that begins!!! :D  )

Yes.

And I think that would be kinda fun sitting in a lawn chair watching them come out of the plant! (save me a seat!)

Ya know thats not a bad idea, to stage a gathering to watch the first ones roll off the assembly line. I'd go. . .

How far is it from Windsor/Detroit?

OK....one more question. If the 2009 is scheduled for Jan-Mar of 2009 will the 2010 model be available one year from that date or will it revert to the 2010 model year (Late Summer/Early Fall of 2009) to fall back in line with all of the other 2010 models.

The reason I am asking is that I am first on a list at my local dealer and if I decide to wait until the 2010 model do I have a full year to wait or will it be a shorter wait?

Thanks to everyone for their input!

Well, it's "approx." ~450 km from Windsor to Oshawa, so figure you do the "posted" speed limit of 100 km/h, it's ~4.5 hours. Do ~120 km/h, which EVERYBODY does on Hwy 401, then it's ~3.75 hours. One of my trips there/back, I took just over ~3 hours each way ;). Oops! :D
