I got a hifonics nx880, 220W x 4@ 2 ohms or 440W x 2@ 4 ohms.
My subs CF1244, 400 rms DVC

You'll wire the VCs in parallel (FOR 2 ohm impedance) and use one bridged output on one sub, and one on the other (if two subs).

I have yet to see a bridged amp that can handle a 2 ohm load. If the subs had dual 8 ohm voice coils wired in parallel (or dual 2 ohm voice coils in series) that would be a different story.

my bad wasn't even thinking -- thought he posted at 2 ohms and I wasn't familiar with nx series so I went along with it assuming he chose the sub and amp to work at their best with each other......in this case now tho -- I would try to return/exchange the subs or the amp if possible....whatever is easier -- or you'll just have to use only 1 ch per sub.....and the amp is likely overrated anyway

amp sounds good, bertter than my crossfire , I just wired up a single coil on each sub, it looks like that's the only way I'll get max power out the amp

at least you have another VC if one blows now -- nice -- and you do get the most out of your amp
