I just came back from the track last night and was driving it pretty hard. I also was racing a Evo back home. (going like 140mph)

I walked outside and check out my car and seen a big puddle from underneath my tranny all the way to the back of the car.

Did the trans pump go out? It kinda seems like the transmission is leaking from a crack where it was rebuilt. Not the bellhousing, but if you pull just the tranny its the front part where as if you were going to rebuild it. Its like the gasket sealer he had wasnt all the way sealed and leaked out through there:confused:

Im so frustrated because i just put the tranny in and now this....help guys!!

Was the transmission overfilled? If so, I leaked out the top where the vent is.

im hoping that it did overflow and come out the vent tube. When i put fluid in it i didnt know how much to put in so i took out the fill plug on the side of the tranny and filled it up until fluid was coming out. Then i put the plug back in. I think it was like 6 quarts or so??

Mine overflowed with the same problem the converter has a quart of oil in it so when you add oil to your tranny you add what is suggested, not thinking anything. It has a tiny hole at the bottom when it does overfill it will spill out.

now im not sure if you just talking about auto's when they are overfilled or if it is the same for manual too. It did seem to drip a little when i filled it up. Im going on vacation tomorrow so i wont have time to put it in the air and see whats up. I do pray to god that it overfilled and puked out and not no seal or something busted.....

well i just drained the fluid out and put 4 quarts in and it is STILL leaking. Im not sure if its a seal or what. What else could it be? If it is the seal, hard hard is it to replace it?

I think its the RTV sealent from the front adapter plate on the tranny. Its leaking all around that crack from where it seals. I guess i mine as well take the plate off and re-seal the adapter plate and input shaft seal
