I looked throught the FAQ and could find nothing on whether this will work. I did find one place that said these tires will go on up to a 11" rim.

Any thoughts would be welcome.:bow:

There's also been a thread on the subject, might want to try a "search".

What width wheel a tire fits on is determined by the tire manufacturer. Pick a tire and look at Tire Rack for its specs. That will tell you what wheel width limits the tire manufacturer set. Most manufacturers will let you put a 275/40-17 on an 11" wide wheel. Whether it looks any good is another question.

It will work ive seen it on a vette with ZR1s. It doesnt look good though, the tire is very stretched. I would just get something between a 295 to 315.

They only make 275, 285 and 315 in the 17's.
