I installed a Pioneer deck in my 96z, and now I can only turn the volume up to 7, and it is extremely loud. How do I fix this? It is loud even when the volume is at 1, so its very annoying.
Thanks

Thanks fredmr39 07-04-2007, 03:04 PM Bose I assume? j1shotz88 07-04-2007, 05:28 PM is "mx" on? run all new wires to your speakers.... fredmr39 07-04-2007, 05:33 PM is "mx" on? run all new wires to your speakers.... he can't if he has Bose since each speaker has it's own amp looking for low-level inputs Unertl42 07-05-2007, 06:53 PM yes, I have Bose, so now what> valter 07-05-2007, 10:16 PM Is there any RCA pre-outs on your new deck? If so, get some RCA cables, cut them in half and connect to wiring harness of your stock unit, where currently you have amplified outputs from HU connected. Sounds weird, but it works. j1shotz88 07-05-2007, 11:18 PM wait .... he installed a pioneer deck in his car... " on my cd player there is a button that i can press called mx or "max" which will increase all the speakers volume... it might be called " loud" what i am saying is that might be on and he hasnt turned it off or something like that.... and if it were me i would run all new wires because thats just the way i am.... im not saying wire is cheap but that would be one of the best ways to do it, not the easiest but effective. i my self do not have a bose radio in my 96 camaro because i wouldn't be able to stand not having a mp3 wma or ipod ready cd player. fredmr39 07-05-2007, 11:24 PM wait .... he installed a pioneer deck in his car...
