Just bought some 15x10 draglites and not sure what size tire to get for them.
m6
4.11's
shifting at 6700
400hp n/a, will spray 150 soon
really don't want to have to roll my quarter panels or any other drastic body modifications except I know I'll have to grind the calipers down.
Anyone recommend a good tire size. Are the ET drags a good slick?

E.T. drags will take a little work to fit
try a 275-60-15 E.T. street radial

Will the street radials hook okay?
Forgot to mention I've got a 12 bolt and plan on launching at 5k+...
Thanks

some of that depends on the car.....if the car is set-up right and transfers good it will be no problem. I was yanking the tires off the ground on a drag radial BFG...so I'm sure a Mickey thompson would hook pretty good

Do you know if a 325/50/15 would fit?
I've got nitto's right now, but I have to limit my launching rpm for those...I want a tire that I can leave at a high rpm w/out worrying about spinning..

Does anyone in the 500hp range run the MT radials without spinning, I hear these are a good tire but don't last very long. Looks like they even have a 27" diameter tire also..It's either between the MT or an ET drag..

Guys are putting 1500+hp through those 275/60/15 M/T Radials tires running high 7's in the heads-up racing circuits. PSCA, etc.
The 325's and 315/60 or 296/65's have been in the mid 7.50 range with well over 2000hp through them. Most are automatic cars leaving a little bit softer out of the gate than if they were to run a 15" wide slick tire.
The issue some like to discuss is whether s manual trans car works good or terrible on a stiff wall radial tire. Search board like Yellowbullet.com to find info from guys who havbe done testing back to back, etc. Goodluck!
