Finally was able to take the car to the track. 12.15 at 114mph. 1.65 60ft time. Now I just have to figure out how to break into the 11s. Does the madness ever stop? ;)

I am real excited for you and a bit frustrated at the same time...........:( ;) We did better work to yours then mine...........:( :o You should have told me you were going. I could have went.........:) 2000GTP 06-30-2007, 12:21 PM Very nice times Rick.:D Too bad I couldn't have gone yesterday. Maybe next time though. I have to order up some new throttle cables and get the new MAF sensor put in and I should be good to go. Z-RATED94 06-30-2007, 12:29 PM Thanks guys, and thanks again Eddie for doing the work to the car. If I would have known, I would have called you. I want to let you drive it so I can watch it go down the track. :D PS, I guess it was worth the extra wait for the Joe O. cam. mdacton 06-30-2007, 12:33 PM What is the wt. of the car? You have more power somewhere.......or something isn't right, unless its really heavy I have run way quicker than that@ 3200# and wayyy less h.p. Z-RATED94 06-30-2007, 12:36 PM Full weight (options loaded car). And over half a tank of gas. Very small cam. Should my ET be better compared to my MPH? Thanks mdacton 06-30-2007, 12:39 PM Full weight (options loaded car). And over half a tank of gas. Very small cam. Should my ET be better compared to my MPH? Thanks get it on a scale..... 114 m.p.h you could probly get 11.70 11.80 with little effort....... You have good 60'......so a little work, a really good converter that works well I say consistant hi 11's is no prob. Just tweak all the little stuff now Z-RATED94 06-30-2007, 12:48 PM get it on a scale..... 114 m.p.h you could probly get 11.70 11.80 with little effort....... And the 2-3 shift has to come down a little. Maybe a 100 or 200 rpm. Seemed to lag for an instant where its set right now. mdacton 06-30-2007, 12:52 PM Thanks, I'm thinking about a 3600 Yank now. Its got plenty left in it so keep working on it. Congrats. Smokn '94 Z 06-30-2007, 01:59 PM It was worth all the work and your stitches.. :p Like I said a Yank 3600 might be great but I think the 4000 would be better. Javier on this board has basically your set up and runs the 4000 I believe. I might be wrong. I think the car with a better converter is a 11.70 car with the full weight. Call me NEXT TIME!!:) Z-RATED94 06-30-2007, 02:35 PM It was worth all the work and your stitches.. :p Like I said a Yank 3600 might be great but I think the 4000 would be better. Call me NEXT TIME!!:) Eddie, I'm thinking no bigger than a 3600 because I'm going to spray a 100 shot next year, and don't want to run out of gear. Plus I don't know how a 4000 would be on the street. And thanks mdacton. | ||
