Advice on C5 Z06 wheels for my '96 Z28

I know a guy who has an extra set of C5 Z06 wheels (17 x 9.5 fronts, 18 x 10 or 10.5? rears). I haven't seen the wheels yet, but I have some questions, since the price is tempting, he wants $600 for the wheels or $1,000 for the wheels with Good Year F1 tires (used but still in very good condition). I don't know from what year Vette are the wheels from, guess '00 or so.

-do Z06 wheels are the same size front and rear? I ve' seen sets for sale and all 4 wheels are 18's, not staggered 17/18 as he is offering me. I will have problems because tire rotation won't be possible (unless I remount the tires from one side to the rims on the opposite side).

-Would I need special lug nuts or the ones on my stock '96 Z28 rims will fit?

-Would I need spacers in the rear or are they direct bolt-ins? I read somewhere that I could use Z06 wheels if I have tubular lateral suspension arms (mine are stock), is this true?

Thanks for the info!

OEM C5 Z06 wheels are:

Front:
17x9.5" 54mm offset

Rear:
18x10.5" 58mm offset

The fronts will fit fine. The rears may cause the inside edge of the tire to rub on the inner fender liner, or the inner edge of the rim to catch on the protruding edge of the jounce bumper bracket. It has essentially the same backspace as the 17x11 50mm ZR1/GS wheel that is described in the writeup in the FAQ. So it may have the same problems.

Z06 Replica wheels for the f-body come in typically come in the following combinations

1) A set of 17x9.5's (with offset = 54mm)
2) A set consisting of 17x9.5 (offset - 54mm) on the fronts, and 18x10.5's (offset = 58mm on the rears.

In regards to lug nuts I would either get them with the wheels you're buying or get a new set to match the appearance of the new wheels. The stock oem lugs should work, but would look crappy with the Z06 wheels.

If you stick to the above combinations available, then you should not need spacers. In regards to the rear wheels (18x10.5) if you plan to run a 300 or wider tire like a 315 then you will need to do the BFG mod (hammering the inside wheel wells) to get them to fit as well modify the inside of the fenders to prevent the tires from rubbing.
