If you haven't seen the announcements, CamaroZ28.Com has partnered with Nitto tire to find some good looking Camaros with Nitto tires for an ad to be on the back cover of an upcoming issue of Super Chevy Magazine!

If you have Nitto tires on your Camaro and want to take your shot of getting it in the ad, just reply to this thread and post an image of your car. It has to be at least 1024x768 to be considered and those who are selected will receive notification.

The opening for submissions will end SOON so get your pics in this thread now!!

By the way, how soon is soon? I don't have any decent looking rear shots with my new exhaust (I know it's not an exhaust ad, but the pipes make the car look even better, hehe). Just wondering... because if there's maybe a week's time, I could probably get some new pics in.

Both of my Camaro's! The Navy Blue Metallic is a '94 3.4L and the Mystic Teal one is a '95 Z28. Both cars have the 245/45/17 Nitto NT555 Extreme ZR's and i love them. Also, any of these pics can be resent much larger, photobucket seems to resize them when i post on here.

The pics are without her makeup or factory tonnaeu covers on. New overlays for the Z28 badges and inlays for the rear camaro fill are on now. They match the wheel's powder coating quite well.

(i didnt take the pics my wife did im in iraq now but i can ask her to take some better pics if need be)

BTW, I just noticed Future Z Owner has Goodyears as well. Wasn't this for Camaro's with Nitto tires on them? I thought thats what they were asking for, but I am starting to second guess myself.

lol, don't get me started. I hate Goodyears. They always seem more expensive than anything else, and they won't last long at all compared to most other street tires I've had. I love my Nitto's :D

I sent in my fax yesterday. It would be cool to see all of our cars seperately but I doubt they are going to run 24 distinct ads.

They would probably cut out your car and insert a different background.

Faxed in today. Eager to hear the actual plans.

I am guessing that they will just have 24 small pictures in a large rectangle together in one large block with "Nitto" underneath them. I highly doubt they will do individual ads either, it would just take too long.

I like many of you would love to see one of my chosen pics on a full page, but more likely it will be a 1 inch square mixed with the other 24 1 inch square chosen pics in one add.

Can anyone from Nitto or Super Chevy clarify on what the ad will actually be that our cars will be in? Or when the ad will be in the magazine. All the info I got just stated "later this year".

If you have ever wanted to get your car into a major magazine, now is your chance. Nitto Tire is giving CamaroZ28.com members the chance to showcase their Camaros' in an upcoming print ad.

The ad concept is "Nitto: Fueled by Enthusiasts" and we'd like to include pictures of CamaroZ28.com members' cars in the ad, which is going to run on the back cover of Super Chevy magazine.

If you have Nitto tires on your Camaro and would like to be featured in the ad, please respond to the ad thread started by JasonD and post an image of your car. It has to be at least 1024x768 to be considered, and we will let everyone know which cars were selected prior to publication.

A sample of the ad (with placeholder images) is shown below.

A timeframe would be helpful to see what becomes of the ad. I faxed my info in yesterday and cant wait to see what happens.

With 24 cars in it, somebody here is going to notice it within days of it hitting the shelf. Hopefully they'll be kind enough to post which issue it's in. :cool:

The email I recieved (probably the same one everyone who was chosen recieved) stated "later this year". Hopefully someone from Super Chevy can give us a date so we know. Otherwise, like DWray stated, whoever happens to see it on the shelves first, please post it up here.

I would guess in around October/November.

Well, I have seen the October Super Chevy, and still no add. That leads me to believe that if in fact Super Chevy will run the Nitto add this year, it will have to obviously be November or December.

Does anyone know or heard from Super Chevy or Nitto to confirm when the add will run??

I was one that got chosen. But my printer crapped out on me and couldn't print the photo release form to sign and fax back by the deadline. :mad:

Okay, got an update for you folks, and I have some good news!

The ad is scheduled to be in the issue covering SEMA. The good part is that Primedia prints a thousands extra of this issue and gives them away at SEMA!

For those not able to attend SEMA, the stand date for the issue is sometime in near the end of October!

Is it just the same exact add in the Super Chevy magazine? I am a subscriber to GMHTP, but my issue didn't come with the calender :mad: If the calender just has the same add, then I'll probably pass on buying a 2nd issue of GMHTP, however if its different, I might end up getting one.
