Help! 17 x 10.5's On All Corners?

I have a 2002 Z28 that I'd like to put 17" x 10.5" American Racing Torq Thurst wheels on. I'm planning using 275/40/17 tires. Can I use this size all the way around? Meaning will these fit on the front as well as the back? If so, has anyone done this before? Or maybe have pics of it? Thanks in advance!

What is the offset on the wheels? That will determine how they fit, how deep into the wheel wells, and whether they will rub. Even with the correct offset, they are probably going to be a bit outside the fenders in the front. There are a couple people here running 17x11's on all 4 corners, mostly for road racing/Auto-X. A "search" might turn up some pictures, maybe from a couple years ago.

A 275/40-17 will fit on a 10.5" wide wheel, but it might look a little skimpy or stretched. Alternatives would be 285/40-17 or 315/35-17. Both those would be OK in the back with the correct offset. Might be a problem on the front, again depending on the offset, and how far outside the fender you are willing to let the tire sit.

Thanks for the info!!! The wheels I'm looking at have a +44mm Offset and 7 1/2" Backspace. I'm considering just buying two and trying them on the front. If they fit great, I'll order two more. If not they'll need to go on the back and I'll have to buy narrower wheels for the front?

Thanks for the info!!! The wheels I'm looking at have a +44mm Offset and 7 1/2" Backspace. Big wheels are actually an easier fit on the front than the rear but that offset / backspace probably won't be enough. You'll have to test fit them to see what you'll need. I'm willing to bet you'll come up a little short. No worries though. It's not as hard to fit these as some would lead you to believe.

My wheels are a 50mm offset with about a 7-7/8 backspace and I have to run a 1/2 inch spacer to clear the upright (spindle). It doesn't sound like you'll need that much spacer.

There are tons of guys racing on 17x11s and spacers on all four corners (we can't legally modify the inner fender or bumpstop to fit the larger wheels). Most don't run 11s all the way around on a daily driver though.

And yeah, pics are around. I just posted some in another thread about a week ago. PM me for more info if you'd like.

Are you sure the wheels are 10.5" wide? I thought the TT II's were 17x11 45mm offset?

They also have them available with custom backspacing:

I was actually looking at the Torq Thrust M's. 605M71561C

Has anyone had good or bad luck with these? Thanks!
