315's what tires required no modifications?

I read the sticky note about getting 315's on the rear of 4th generations and some had to do a lot of steps and some none. What tires works with no problems and what ones had problems and what were they? I would buy a certain brand and type if it ment no pounding or cutting.

Go to Tire Rack, do a "search" on 315/35-17, then look at the specs for each tire, mainly the "section width". The narrower the section width, the less chance of anything rubbing.
