SSpdDmon 06-21-2007, 02:47 PM Yeah...the setting that doesn't install the performance tune. You can play with the trans so it shifts a little harder and lower your fan temps (just tell it you have a 180 t-stat). 2001NBMZ28 06-21-2007, 03:01 PM Make sure your battery is in good shape, when I had one it took several minutes to load - you don't want to lose voltage in the middle of programming. I used one for gear swap/fans/50% shift firmness a few years ago - never tried the tune. teke184 06-22-2007, 09:06 AM yeah....ebay for $200 and buy something useful 2000GTP 06-22-2007, 03:42 PM Granted the price is cheap, but that comes for a reason. The Hypertech is not good for much else other then gear ratio and thermostat changes. I would just hold off and either use the money towards a better programmer or a mail-order tune. '02 WS6 06-25-2007, 11:47 PM save your $100, then save another 300-400 and get hptuners! it'll benefit you more in the long run, if you plan on going the h/c route. | ||
