Muffler recomendations for ORY DUMP!pyro719 06-20-2007, 10:32 PM I am thinking about putting a muffler and turndown on the end of the ORY with my pacesetter longtubes. Wich muffler could I get that wont get me pulled over and still flow well? pyro719 06-21-2007, 09:40 PM anybody? mdacton 06-21-2007, 09:53 PM not much will fit under the car..... go with a good cat back... The thinnest mufflers I have found were the edelbrock T-304 stainless, Keep in mind this was years ago(5 or more) I have not looked at any mufflers since then. tnmotown 06-22-2007, 01:24 AM I have the pacesetters LT's, ORY, and a spintech muffler dumped. When i had full bolt-ons it sounded pretty good but once WOT it was really loud!! Now with my 383 i HAVE to quiet it down. Clearence wise, its pretty close to my driveline. Im sure any muffler shop could probably work it out to not hit. I was thinking about getting a magnaflow bullet muffler, extend out the pipe a little more and not dump it (so the sound doesnt bounce off the ground) Whatever you do, let me know, just curious http://i154.photobucket.com/albums/s278/tnmotown/exhaust.jpg pyro719 06-22-2007, 01:56 AM I just decided to come off the ORY with a 3" jegs cutout connected to the stock catback. That way it will be mellow untill I uncap it:D tnmotown 06-22-2007, 10:27 AM that will work too, have fun with it  TheOutlaw 2007 06-22-2007, 01:01 PM Put a cut-out on you car if you want it louder. Also the cut-out is worth 7-10 HP on a dyno:) | ||
