Advice on Head

Well here's the deal. I've got an exhaust bolt that is broken off in my drivers side head in the very front bolt hole. I drilled and was using the left handed drill bit my chuck broke on the drill and it so happened to snap off in the hole. I've decided that I'm just going to buy a new set of heads, get them ready to to install, then do the swap in an afternoon so I have the least amount of downtime, and then get the bolt out and head threads fixed and sell the others. Thing I'm stuck on is what would be the best head to get. I know that there are a SLEW of LS1,2,6,Lxx, and so on for sale on here. Which would be a direct bolt on(to my 5.3L truck motor) that would give me a little bump in power. I have access to someone to tune for the new heads so that won't be an issue. I'm really not interested in changing the cam unless I find a good deal on heads+cam. But lifters will be done at the same time since I have one that is slow to expand. Any thoughts would be much appreciated.

Can you find any ported 5.3 heads with new vavles?

You need some small chambers to replace the 5.3L heads, so I'd advise the LS6 heads.

These 2 are the only options that will keep your compression ratio up on a 5.3. All of the other gen III/IV heads have larger combustion chambers.

I could find some ported 5.3 heads but they want too much for the. How much would I have to get milled to get ls1 heads to work? Or is it too much? Looks like the ls1 heads are the cheapest. The more I talk about it, I just wanna find a low mile ls2. Getting up in the miles anyhow.

You can mill them around .020-.030 for the same compression as the 5.3L heads.
