Hey guys I have been having some issues with my new Hemi(I know blasphmy) but humor me here.

It tends to kinda run rough at idle and I think its down on power. Dodge being helpful as always I decided to poke around my self and check things out.

I found some very interesting stuff going on with the plugs. All are the same PN and are stock with about 7k miles on them. NGK platinums.

I pulled the drivers side and just kinda glanced at them, but today I pulled the drivers side and decided to bring them in the house and really get a good look at them.

I found that the front plug(2 per cylinder) in #2,6 and 8 were looking what I believe to be about right except for some strange deposits. The heat band on the ground strap is right at the bend, but there is a strange brown spot on one side of the plug, not all the way around, or right off the end of the electrode but just on one side.

The rear plug in these same cylinders has the no color change on the strap at all, and actually appears as the plug is getting just a tad hot, but there is no deposits on the porcelin at the top like the other plug.

Also my #4 cylinder the plugs looked lean to me with the heat ring right where the strap meets the body of the plug with no deposits.

I have attached pictures if someone would be some kind to take a look and tell me if I am close or retarded.

#2, front plug on the left, rear on the right

It feels like it's down on power because the computer is garbage in those new Hemis due to torque management, computer's restrictions to go 100% throttle under a certain amount of rpm, etc.

You might want to check out lxforums.com to see what I'm talking about if you're not familiar with the problems of the new HEMI computers.

My friend threw around $4000 into his Hemi 5.7L to go high 13s. (longtube headers, catback, 2800 stall, etc.)

Might be a TINY bit lean, but it's probably nothing to write home about. ;)

Yes the computer is abosulute **** in these things. I've thought about putting my DFI for my camaro on it and running a throttle cable. I was just kinda confused how two plugs in the same hole can look different, and then have one cylinder look pretty lean compared to the others on a vehicle with port injection.
