Ive been thinking about putting a high flow cat back on my car to try and deepin the exhaust tone a little. I loved the way the Borla sounded when I still had the stock cat on the car. Right now I am runnin an ORP. How much power would I be leaving on the table by puttin a high flow cat on the car?

If you have alot of rasp in your exhaust note, then a cat should help clean that up a bit. As for power loss, you might lose a very small amount, if any.

None if you get the new Magnaflow Metallic Substrate catalytic converters. They flow like 590 cfm apiece. That will support a lot of hosepower.

Yes I am trying go get rid of some of the raspyness that came along once I took my cat out. I would rather have it sound good and give up a couple hp then to have it the opposite.

Put in a cat and install a cutout before it for the track. That's what I plan on doing once it comes time for inspection.

Yea thats a good idea. I could just have them weld in the cut-out while they are installing the cat.
