What you lose in low end, you gain in high end. And besides, you're not going to lose all of it...there will still be plenty of power and torque to be had. Anybody that doesn't reccommend headers on an LT1 is full of it...unless you have inspections to worry about. Pyrodawg 06-10-2007, 12:21 PM my whole curve shifted up.. so i didnt lose any low end i gained it karpetcm5 06-10-2007, 04:36 PM I have a 1993 Z 6speed my power is alot better top end and didnt lose low end it went upper in the rpms. The car has plenty of torque and if you have a 6speed and try launching it off the line you will spin tires in 1st anyway, if you care about torque and cant get enough of it then go with 4:10's 6speed or 3:73's auto and the torque will multiply to the wheels and you should add more top end power since with the rear end youll stay in it longer an get there quicker and youll have a much faster car. The only problems with headers is leaks do alot of reseach on what type of headers, gaskets and bolts. | ||
