So which one guys, QTP or DMH? Does it really matter which one, or are they both the same as far as how long they last?

My friend runs the DMH; we just pulled it off this weekend as it's stuck closed. The motor tries to open it but can't. Not sure how reliable these things really are :(

I selected a 3 1/2" QTP on a custom cat-back. Due to it's small size. The DMH required more space then the QTP. Located just before the rear axle near the Left rear seat floor pan caviety. I have low ground clearance as well, and, QTP fit better. I have to check for loose fasteners on the QTP, and, be carefull not to over drive the electric motor. Also, a short exhaust kick-down helps to keep the hot gas off the motor and floor pan. So far, it is still working. It helps alot with flow. The DMH looks to be a good unit as well. I have heard good and bad about both. The DMH does offer a nice warranty though.

Ive had the DMH for 3 years now. The only problem I had was my fault (bottomed out and ripped the motor off) and it was replaced through the warranty. It is a great product in my opinion.
