O2 Sensor Location on Offroad Headers

I was wondering where you put O2 sensors on offroad hooker headers. Offroad meaning that they dont come with O2 bungs. Is there header extensions with O2 bungs welded on and is that too late in the exhaust flow?

Well there coated hookers so I rather use a extension pipes off the headers. Dont really want to weld on my headers and what year camaro's use single-wire unheated O2s?

I believe the 3rd Gens and the 93 4th Gens used single wire sensors. It is possible to convert to heated sensors. I'd have to look at my Chiltons to verify your 92 has single-wire.

Forgot to mention that this is gonna be on the LT1 when its in the car. So I'll have to buy O2 sensors and my motor is a 92 Vette with all 95 camaro electronics.

If you are using a 95 PCM, you will need 4-wire heated O2 sensors just to avoid codes for the heater circuits.

Yep, big trouble! Im ordering a heated 02 conversion from Fastbird over on speeddensity.org for my 93. Not sure which o2s im gonna go with though, my NGKs didnt hold up at all.
