Probably wont get pics....but why wouldn't you be able to? Just measure out some box specs for the well, and choose a sub that will work within the specs....

I am using an Image Dynamics IDMax 12 in a 2cuft ported box tuned to 30 hz. the box is completely in the well. You might be able to get as much as 2.5 ft depending on port length and material. I try to always use long slot ports. I had to remove the t-top plastic holders but I left the studs just incase I wanted to use them again.

Yo Tyler...
I don't know what size you are looking for but I bought an old ported box for a truck that worked perfectly in my 'trunk' area of my 3.4 a couple yrs ago. Its set up for 1 10". If you want it, or would like to break it down for measurements or whatever...hit me back...its just sitting in my garage. I have t-tops now and got one of the stealth boxes.
Hit me up if you want bud....if you want it...its yours....I just can't bring myself to pitch a perfectly good 10" ported box.

I talked to a guy that works at my local car audio store. He told me that when camaro owners wanted ported boxes, they basically took a normal sealed box from like audio enhancers or any other basic sealed box, take the top off it, slot port the box, then make a new top that fits the ports. Asked him about doing it and he said it was expensive for them to do it and it needed to be done very precisely and subwoofer specific. He also said he has seen some camaro boxes with a whole drilled in it with a pvc pipe going down in the box and they used the lenth of the tube to tune the box along with some polyfill.

It will be no good this way. Ported box must have a larger volume (almost twice with same drivers) vs sealed enclosure to be efficient/tunable. Of course, you can compensate it a little by selecting subs, that will work in this box, with very limited choices. It's always better to build a box around good subs.

why would you really need a ported box anyways? Sealed is better for SQ and the hatchback setup makes even cheap subs sound decent. Good subs in a sealed box are plenty loud enough for me

I hit 145.3 @ 42hz with two Crossfire BMF 12's in a generic sealed box. They were being powered by a Crossfire VR1000d amplifier. It's not the loudest setup on earth, but I can't see a reason for going any louder unless you're competing. If you get a set of nice subs, you'll be more than impessed with how deep they sound even in a sealed box. F-bodies are great for subwoofers.
