First LS6 block by NEdyno

Well the beast may take its first breath by Friday. A little background on this: I decided to be the first guinea pig for NEdyno(well I knew after it was done anyway...uhum BOB!). We took a brand new LS6 block and blue printed it, balanced it, clearanced it ETC ETC. And then honed it for a larger bore forged piston from JE with 2cc valve reliefs for the new cam. Its 80% built and will be going in Thursday or Friday. Then straight to deans so he can tune it with LS1 Edit. So this may be a great service starting soon with NeDyno and I will let you all know how it goes. But I must say Dean is a straight up guy from what I can see and runs a class act shop, except for that Bob guy, he can be moody. Hopefully all will go well.

Just when it was ready to get put into the car he stops and orders a K-member and upper and lower control arms, so the motor will wait till those parts come in and get all done at once.

I know I know, Bob will never forgive me. I had to though, shaving a ton of weight. I need to do anything I can to hang with the big cubed LT1's running rampant. Oh I am changing the heads too (ducking for cover). You can thank slowhawk for that one. Hey Dean and Bob should I get the wet kit or a dry shot? Gonna get a 150hp kit. For emergency purpose only of course;)

I would only recommend a dry shot when an aftermarket computer can adjust the injectors to add the fuel and take care of the timing.
Since your limited to LS1 edit go for the wetkit.

Also I thought you had ported and polished heads already thats what you told me. Now what are you doing to the heads?

I do have heads. I have ARE stage 1. 2.02 1.57. Milled .030. I want more. I am having my original 2001's done. Then I will sell the ARE's maybe. I am getting them flow tested this week though cause if the ARE's are flowing in the 300 range I will leave them and put the other ones on the SS. Quit being so impatient your like a little kid in a candy shop.

Nitrous-wet kit with a progressive controller.Only way to go:)
